The All-Natural Path to RESTorative Sleep

What is the all-natural way 8 out of 10 FMS patients are able to get restful, restorative sleep?

The Cuddle Ewe™ Underquilt, which is layer upon layer of thick natural wool batting sewn within a soft, breathable cotton cover. Placed between your mattress and bottom sheet, it transforms your bed from something routine you have been accustomed to lying on into something sublime you are cradled in. Nestled in its gentle yielding embrace, you will find nature’s gift for soothing comfort of your body and the restfulness of your sleep.

Don’t take our word for it—look at what a few of our satisfied customers have to say!

  • "I couldn't go wrong...the very first night I had immediate relief. I can get up in the morning without the pain in my legs and feet!"
  • “What a great product!!! It was well worth what I paid for it. Thank you!”
  • “So, thank you for an honest great product. The only problem is, getting out of bed because it feels so good to lie in it!!!!"

Sleep More Soundly

A Cuddle Ewe™ Underquilt begins as millions of pure, cleaned wool fibers obtained from a British breed of sheep that grows the world’s most resilient wool. Minimal processing leaves the wool close to its natural state when first sheared, preserving its weight carrying buoyancy. Our specially selected and processed wool has a unique, buoyant, resiliency that gently yields to the contours of your body. It is gathered into layered batts nearly ten inches thick before it is sewn within a breathable woven cotton cover and thread tufted to a finished thickness of three to four inches. The self-binding, intertwined wool fibers eliminate any possibility of voids. Tufting the wool ensures it will not shift inside the cotton cover, and is done with strong nylon thread—no buttons that might irritate you while lying on your Underquilt. Seams are closely lock stitched (about 13 stitches per inch) and will not unravel. All the wool inside is there to stay—uniform, breathable, and ready to give you many years of supreme comfort!

The Perfect Bed Environment

The combination of wool's breathable insulating and moisture dispersion virtues defines the unique Underquilt. With a Cuddle Ewe™ Underquilt between you and your mattress, you are suspended in insulating layers of air within plush wool—all held next to you body. You're now nestled in a bed that quickly matches your body temperature when you enter it, and remains that way, offering constant, toasty warmth without overheating. And the moisture given off by the body is absorbed by the Underquilt's wool fibers while you're in bed, and dispersed to the air when you leave it. Your skin and sheets remain dry and you sleep much better.

Humans have comforted themselves with sheep’s wool for centuries. The fibers of wool capture air that acts as a buffer to changes in temperature. That's why clothing made of it—sweaters, suits, socks, etc.—keeps us warm in winter and surprisingly cool in summer. And wool breathes. It can absorb up to 30% of its weight in moisture without feeling wet to the skin, and then evaporate it into the air.

Pain Relief

Many Cuddle Ewe™ owners say what they appreciate most is the stress and pain-relieving effect it has—especially those convalescing with broken bones and suffering with back problems or other ailments such as Fibromyalgia or Arthritis. Often undisturbed rest and sleep are made difficult by aggravated pain caused by the sitting or lying on your body’s pressure points. If you deal with such problems, easing yourself into the deep, supple cushioning of a Cuddle Ewe™ Underquilt can be a real blessing. While the Underquilt is not a cure for any physical impairment, it can help alleviate symptoms.

Easy Use and Care

Using your Underquilt is simple. It is placed directly on your mattress, under your bottom sheet.

Caring for it is easy too. We recommend placing a cotton flannelette between your bottom sheet and the Underquilt to help keep it clean.

You spend about one-third of your life in bed. Make the quality of that time as good as it can be—not only for its own sake, but also for how it influences the wellbeing of the other two-thirds of your life.
