The Board of Directors for the National Fibromyalgia Association has elected three new board members: Michael Seffinger, DO, Herb Smith, and Scott Stoney, MD.
Dr. Seffinger is an associate professor at Western University of Heath Sciences, a private college of osteopathic medicine and medical school located in downtown Pomona, Calif.
Mr. Smith is president and CEO of the Los Angeles Mission, which serves the people of Skid Row, and has over 20 years of nonprofit experience.
Dr. Stoney is a board-certified physician in pain management and physical medicine and rehabilitation. His practice, California Rehabilitation, Inc., is located in Newport Beach, Calif.
“Each of these individuals has a diverse background and brings valuable insights and experience,” says Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association. “We look forward to working with them in our continued efforts to improve the quality of life for people affected by fibromyalgia.”
