ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 10, 2009)—The National Fibromyalgia Association is pleased to announce that Fibromyalgia AWARE magazine is now available online. Fibromyalgia AWARE, which will continue to be available in print, is the first and only consumer magazine that focuses exclusively on fibromyalgia. The new digital format will include the same articles and advertisements as the printed version—at a lower subscription rate.
"We have received numerous requests about reducing the subscription rate for Fibromyalgia AWARE,” says Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association. “Thanks to technology that allows us to eliminate paper and printing costs, we are pleased to be able to offer a more affordable option.”
The electronic publication, powered by Nxtbook Media, a premier technology provider to the publishing industry, allows online readers to click directly from the table of contents to their article of choice. Website addresses included in articles and advertisements are hyperlinked, providing quick access to helpful information on other websites.
A help button and an online tutorial are also included to help first-time digital readers navigate through the publication. Technical support provided by Nxtbook Media is also available by phone during standard business hours and via e-mail outside of business hours.
The subscription rate for the online version of Fibromyalgia AWARE magazine is $19.95. This one-year subscription includes four online issues of the publication. Click here to order your subscription. |
