I am a mom of three great adult kids and a wife to a very loving and caring and my rock. I have been three breast cancer, gastric bypass surgery, neck surgery, had plastic surgery done on my breast due to chemo and radiation treatments so I should be use of pain. But, Fibromyalgia and arthritis on top of that I don’t know how I am doing it. Do to I am taken care of one of my sister’s who has a lot of health issues as well along with her fenice. I try not to be moody, I try to keep in good spirits when I am around family and friends. But, down inside I am crying with the pain. I have a sister who has fibromyalgia along with a muscle disorder which I don’t talk to because we don’t met eye to eye. I want to say to all women and men who fight pain everyday you are stronger than you think you are.
When did you first start to feel symptoms and what did they feel like?
I felt them four years ago, it started with stiffness in the legs and hips, than notice a lot of numbness.
When and by whom were you diagnosed with fibromyalgia?
I was diagnosed this year by a arthritis doctor
Do you have any overlapping conditions? What are they? How have these conditions impacted your life?
Arthritis, have neck problems, besides the pain it just slows me down to clean my house.
What were the reactions of your spouse and family members when you were diagnosed?
They told me they will support me as much as they ca
